Incorporating Mindfulness Into Your Laureate Routine
As we stride into the New Year, there is a philosophy to do so mindfully to achieve the goals we often set as resolutions. Creating a resolution is a great way to place a goal on some aspect of your life, however, we know how easy it is to forget the pathways to success and resort to old patterns. To assist the future residents of The Laureate, we have prepared some tips and tricks to kick off 2023 through acts of mindfulness.
When it comes to mindfulness and meditation, the typical advice is to start your day earlier, but that’s not always a real possibility. This year, try incorporating mindfulness into your day-to-day routine. If you find yourself starting your days off in our beautiful lounge, courtyard, fitness or yoga studios, begin thinking about your breathing or methods of achieving your goals while working out or having a cup of coffee. This will be easier to continue this practice, instead of hitting snooze on your alarm several times.
We are often harder on ourselves than we are on those around us, especially our loved ones. When reviewing our own behaviors, take the time to imagine someone meaningful taking similar actions. The grace you would extend to them, do so for yourself. Additionally, continue to build your relationships. We hope you will get to spend time with friends and family members by relaxing at the lounge fireplace, flex studio, or watching tv and playing games in our club room. Once you are having fun, it’s an easy routine to get into.
